The Neutrogena Wave Sonic Power Cleanser works fairly well; it exfoliates my skin nicely, had two speeds so I can control how hard/gentle I want to polish my face, and it's convenient - I just leave mine in the shower and use it there. While I enjoy the use of the Wave, I don't really care for the Foaming Pads. The pads don't really foam so much, and the formula doesn't get all the makeup off. I actually ended up using the pad once, then rinsing it out completely so I could put on my own cleanser (Garnier Face Wash). The two combined got off all my makeup and made my skin very soft!


I found that if you really don't want to use the Neutrogena pads, you can actually use small pieces of fleece (I had a ton left over from a hat making project). Oddly enough, the fleece stuck on just as well, was just as gentle as the foaming pads provided by Neutrogena, and I could use whatever facial wash I wanted. All in all, the Wave works well. I wouldn't use it every day as it might be too harsh for your skin, but for days where you want to get a deep clean, it's great. Recommended!

How to Use Your WAVE

To use the WAVE Sonic, simply attach a disposable pad to the attachment head, and hold it under running water to activate the foaming pad. Turn on the power-cleanser by pressing the power button. Choose your cleansing speed--either gentle daily cleansing or deep cleansing--then gently massage over your face, making sure to avoid your delicate eye area.

You can use NEUTROGENA WAVE Sonic if you have acne-prone skin. Always make sure to check with your dermatologist is you have sensitive skin or severe acne.
